Mastung Resident Accuses FC of Killing His Son Without Cause

Mastung, Balochistan: A local resident, Syed Manzoor Shah, has accused the Frontier Corps (FC) of unjustly killing his young son, Syed Ehsan Shah, in a recent incident near Lakpass.

Addressing a press conference at the Sarawan Press Club in Mastung on Thursday, Syed Manzoor Shah said, “My son was killed by gunfire from Pakistani forces without any reason. I demand justice and legal action against those responsible for the killing of my son.”

He explained that his son had gone to Quetta on June 2 for Eid shopping and stayed overnight at a relative’s house. “The next day, he left for Mastung, and by evening I received a call from the authorities saying my son had been injured in a road accident. But when I arrived at the scene, I learned that he had been shot dead by the FC.”

“This is sheer injustice,” he added. “My young son was martyred by the FC for no reason while he was simply walking on the road. I want justice.”
