Turbat: Pakistani Forces Launch Military Operation, Several Civilians Forcibly Disappeared

Turbat, Kech : Pakistani security forces carried out a late-night military operation in the Malekabad and Koshak areas of Turbat, the central city of Kech Balochistan, leading to the enforced disappearance of several residents.

According to local sources, Pakistani forces raided multiple homes during the operation and detained numerous individuals who were subsequently forcibly disappeared.

Those identified among the disappeared include Haml son of Imam Bakhsh, Shah Saleem son of Altaf (resident of Malekabad Koshak), Abdul Majeed son of Mahmood along with one of his sons, and Zahoor Murad Hasil along with two of his sons. The identities of several other abducted individuals have not yet been confirmed.

Raids on homes, the daily practice of enforced disappearances, and later the discovery of mutilated bodies have become a disturbing norm in Balochistan under the operations of Pakistani forces.
