Protest Held in Noshki Against the Enforced Disappearance of Scholar Ghani Baloch

A protest demonstration was held in front of the Press Club in Noshki, Balochistan, demanding the recovery of Ghani Baloch, an MPhil scholar and young political activist who was forcibly disappeared. The protest was organized by the victim’s family and the National Democratic Party (NDP), drawing participation from women, children, students, and people from various walks of life.

Demonstrators held placards and banners with slogans such as “Stop Enforced Disappearances” and “Recover Ghani Baloch.”

Participants strongly condemned the enforced disappearance of Ghani Baloch, describing him as an educated, conscious, and peaceful youth. They stated that he was abducted on May 25 while traveling from Quetta to Karachi. The protesters demanded that government authorities immediately produce Ghani Baloch and ensure justice for his family.

It is worth noting that Ghani Baloch is a leader of the National Democratic Party. He was reportedly taken into custody by Pakistani forces on May 25 and has been missing since. His whereabouts remain unknown.
