Tensions remain high in Balochistan as a series of disturbing incidents were reported from Turbat and Noshki. In Turbat, two separate events have left one person dead from gunfire and another body recovered under suspicious circumstances.

According to sources, a body bearing signs of torture was discovered along the Turbat-Pasni road at Bank Chirrahi and transported to Teaching Hospital Turbat for identification. Hospital officials confirmed visible signs of physical abuse, suggesting the individual was tortured before being killed. The identity of the deceased and motive behind the killing remain unknown.

In a separate incident in Turbat’s Malai Bazaar area, unknown gunmen opened fire near a mobile phone tower, fatally wounding a man identified as Tahir Rehmdil. He was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have launched an investigation, though no arrests have been made and the reasons behind the killing are still unclear.

Meanwhile, in Noshki, Pakistani security forces allegedly detained two men, Manzoor Ahmed and Zahoor Ahmed sons of Azizullah Mengal, from the Qadirabad area on May 16, 2025. The men have since been forcibly disappeared, and their whereabouts remain unknown. Their families have accused the forces of involvement in their disappearance, a recurring concern in the region.
