Zamran, Balochistan: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for an armed assault on a Pakistani military checkpoint in the Zamri Dap area of Zamuran. According to the group, the attack occurred at approximately 4:40 PM and resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and injuries to three others.
BLF fighters reportedly launched a close-range assault using RPGs, grenade launchers, and other heavy weapons, targeting the position of what they described as “occupying forces.” The group stated the attack caused chaos at the post and inflicted significant damage.
In an official statement, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch confirmed responsibility for the attack and reiterated the group’s commitment to continuing its armed resistance. He urged the Baloch nation to support the struggle for independence and stand with the fighters in what he called a critical phase of the national movement.
