Panjgur: Pakistani Forces Continue Military Offensive, 5 Forcibly Disappeared

PANJGUR, BALOCHISTAN: Pakistani forces have reportedly forcibly disappeared five individuals during an ongoing military operation in the Parom area of Panjgur district.

According to local sources, the forces carried out raids in various parts of Parom today, during which several civilians were subjected to physical assault. Five young men were taken into custody and moved to an undisclosed location. The disappeared individuals have been identified as Arif Qadir, Jangiyan Abdul Rasheed, Israr Basheer, Yasir Ghulam Jan, and Faisal Murad.

Sources further said that the forces also confiscated several mobile phones from local residents during the raids. The military operation remains ongoing in the area.

Across Balochistan, similar operations by Pakistani forces continue, where individuals are taken into custody and forcibly disappeared. Reports of extrajudicial killings of disappeared persons have also surfaced.

Earlier today, four people were reportedly killed in staged encounters during separate military offensives in the Barkahan and Awaran.
