
Baloch Raaji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS) freedom fighters eliminated 22 personnel of the occupying Pakistani Army in attacks carried out in Noshki and Barkhan (Chamalang). In these operations, the freedom fighters successfully captured the main camp of the occupying forces. During the clashes, the enemy army was forced to retreat, while five BRAS fighters embraced martyrdom during the fierce fighting.
This statement was released to media by Baloch Khan, the spokesperson for BRAS.
On Monday night, BRAS fighters launched a major assault on the main camp of the occupying Pakistani Army in the Galangor area of Noshki. Fighters eliminated enemy personnel at security posts in a sniper attack and followed it with a fierce ground offensive. The attack began at 9:30 p.m. and continued until 1 a.m., during which the freedom fighters took control of a significant portion of the camp.
Simultaneously, another squad of BRAS fighters captured Levies and Customs posts, arresting personnel stationed there. In a separate ambush, a convoy of vehicles arriving to support the enemy forces was targeted, resulting in the complete destruction of one vehicle and damage to three others. The Levies and Customs personnel were later released by the fighters.
A total of 17 personnel of the occupying Pakistani Army were eliminated, and several others injured. The fighters also seized weapons and ammunition from the enemy. During the clearance operation of the main camp, two BRAS fighters Sangat Nazar Jan and Sangat Rauf were martyred in fierce clashes.
On April 9, following a drone strike at Dadar in the Chamalang area of Barkhan, the occupying Pakistani Army attempted to advance on a BRAS side camp. The freedom fighters, already alert to drone activity, dispersed into separate groups as a safety precaution.
In the second drone strike, Sangat Kabeer was martyred. Shortly afterward, a third drone attack claimed the life of Sangat Chirag and left Sangat Durra injured. Despite his injuries, Sangat Durra eliminated at least five enemy soldiers and injured many more. When he ran out of bullets, he followed the philosophy of the last bullet choosing martyrdom over capture.
Martyred fighters of BRAS include Meeran alias Nazar, Yaseen alias Rauf, Aaqil Hashmi alias Chirag, Ghulam Raza alias Kabeer and Mohsin alias Durra.
Martyr Sangat Meeran alias Nazar Jan, son of Ustad Syed, who was martyred in Galangor, hailed from Dandalh Dil-e-Sir, Shapuk. He was a fifth-semester Physics student at the University of Balochistan. Associated with the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), he joined the armed struggle in 2022, serving initially as an urban guerrilla. He had previously been forcibly disappeared by the occupying forces in 2018 and endured severe torture. His brother, Kamal Jan alias Gulab, was martyred in a 2022 drone attack.
Sangat Meeran was later moved to the mountain front in 2022 and served on the fronts of Shoor Parod, Noshki and Kharan. Due to his commitment and combat skills, he was elected camp commander and played a pivotal role in several successful operations. He emphasized the importance of strategic planning in modern guerrilla warfare.
He said that, Martyr Sangat Yaseen alias Rauf, son of Rahim Bakhsh, belonged to Keshangi, Noshki. He joined BLA in 2022 and served as an urban guerrilla in Noshki city and surrounding areas. In 2023, he moved to the mountain front and became known for his impactful strikes on enemy forces. He was later elected patrol commander due to his exemplary combat leadership.
Among the comrades martyred in Chamalang was Aaqil Hashmi alias Chirag, also known as “Professor,” son of Hashim from Shahrak, Kech. He joined BLA in 2020 and had previously been active in the Baloch Students Organization, where he worked to educate Baloch youth about national liberation. He had earned an M.Phil in Political Science from the International Islamic University, Islamabad. At the time of his martyrdom, he was serving as unit commander of the Fatah Squad, a special unit of BLA, the role of knowledge alongside armed resistance in the liberation struggle.
Another comrade, Ghulam Raza alias Kabeer, son of Ali Gul from Holangi Tank, Raskoh, Kharan, joined the Balochistan Liberation Front in 2022. Initially serving as an urban guerrilla, he later moved to the Barkhan front where he participated in several key operations. Known for his discipline and compassion, Sangat Raza left a lasting impact on his fellow fighters.
The final martyr, Mohsin alias Durra, son of Mayar from Gulshanabad, Turbat, joined the BLA in 2023. After spending a year fighting as an urban guerrilla, he moved to the Barkhan front in 2024. Sangat Mohsin demonstrated extraordinary courage and decisiveness in life-threatening situations. He chose to shoot himself in the throat adhering to the philosophy of the last bullet rather than fall into enemy hands.
The sacrifices and operations carried out by BRAS fighters send a clear message of unwavering commitment to Baloch national liberation. These warriors not only displayed remarkable valor but also reaffirmed that the Baloch nation will not retreat from its path of resistance.
