BLA Claims 10-Hours Control of Zehri in Khuzdar, And calls it a Military Exercise for Operation Herof

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed to have taken control of the Zehri area of Khuzdar for over ten hours on Wednesday, effectively ending the presence of Pakistani forces in the region.

In a statement released by BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, the group detailed the operation, stating that it was carried out by the Special Tactical Operations Squad (STOS) and the Fateh Squad, with support from the BLA’s intelligence wing, “ZIRAB.”

The operation commenced around 12:30 PM, with BLA fighters seizing control of the Levies police station, bank, NADRA office, and municipal committee in Zehri city. Fighters then established positions and conducted patrols, making announcements in mosques and addressing public gatherings.

The BLA claims to have forced Pakistani forces to surrender, seizing a significant amount of weapons and ammunition, including 23 Kalashnikovs, government records, vehicles, and motorcycles.

Pakistani forces allegedly attempted to regain control with a 35-vehicle convoy, but were ambushed by the BLA using an IED and gunfire, resulting in the destruction of one vehicle and the elimination of at least four personnel, with seven others wounded.

The BLA emphasized the support received from the local Baloch population, stating that public safety and property were ensured during their control.In a separate incident.

The BLA reported taking control of the Pandran area of Kalat and arresting two employees of a communication company for interrogation.The statement described the operation as a military exercise for the second phase of “Operation Herof,” highlighting the BLA’s strength and the vulnerability of Pakistani forces.
