Balochistan Liberation Front’s Spokesperson Major Gwahram released a detailed media statement on Barkhan Operation against state death Squads, Quoting that “On the night of September 21, 2024, at 9:00 p.m., Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) fighters attacked a post of the occupying Pakistani Army and a mobile tower in the Uchti area of Barkhan, setting the tower and its machinery on fire. Immediately after the attack, members of the death squads arrived and started firing indiscriminately. One group of armed death squad members pursued the fighters, who were lying in wait. It is important to note that these death squad members, created to aid the occupying Pakistani Army, have been patrolling the area for a long time, harassing the Baloch people and extorting money.
He added “The strategy behind attacking the military post and the mobile tower was to lure the death squads, led by state so-called chief minister Sarfraz Bugti and his brother Aftab Bugti, out of their safe zone to punish them for their extortion. The fighters successfully executed this strategy. After the operation, the fighters anticipated the pursuit of the death squad and lay in ambush. As soon as the death squad arrived, the fighters launched a heavy attack.
The skirmish continued from the night of September 21 until the following day, resulting in the deaths of 11 death squad members and injuries to several others, including Aftab Bugti, the brother of the puppet Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti.
On September 23, another clash occurred between the fighters and the death squad, where one more death squad member was eliminated. On September 24, two additional members of the death squad were eliminated in another skirmish.
Fighters from allied organizations, including the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and the Baloch Republican Guard (BRG), fought alongside BLF fighters during the operation. After the operation, the fighters retreated to a safe location. However, on September 27, Pakistani forces and death squads attempted to encircle the fighters in the Chitri Gorchani area, leading to another skirmish where three members of the forces and death squads were killed. During this intense battle, BLA fighter Imran Langove, known as “Meerain Baloch,” was martyred.
The organization honors him with the highest respect.Martyr Imran Langove was a brave, patriotic fighter, skilled in warfare. He had been associated with the BLA for the past year and a half. He bravely blocked the enemy’s advance with his excellent battle tactics, ensuring the safe escape of his comrades, and embraced martyrdom following the philosophy of “the last bullet.”
Sarfraz Bugti tried to give a tribal color to the successful operation against the death squads and involved the Masuri Bugti tribe in this conspiracy. We appeal to the Masuri Bugti tribe to stay away from Sarfraz Bugti and his agents and not become a party to their crimes.
The BLF is fighting for the independence of Balochistan and has no enmity with any individual or tribe. However, any individual or group, Baloch or non-Baloch, who collaborates with the occupying Pakistani Army and intelligence agencies, will be treated as an enemy.
The roots of the Baloch fighters are deeply connected with the people. Every operation is made possible with public support and cooperation. With the power and cooperation of the people, we will free the Baloch nation and Balochistan.
The occupying state and its cowardly army, through agents like Sarfraz Bugti, are deceiving innocent people across Balochistan, recruiting them into the death squads. This is the enemy’s cunning strategy because their defeated, salaried soldiers cannot fight the Baloch fighters. The remnants of British imperialism, the Punjabis, are using the same “divide and rule” tactics to pit Baloch against Baloch, to save their cowardly soldiers.
Major Gwahram appealed to the proud people from Gwadar to Dera Ghazi Khan to recognize friend and foe, and not participate in the black deeds of these Pakistani-paid agents. Every Baloch has a duty to join the national caravan of fighters and become immortal in history, just as the Martyr Imran Jan Langove did by offering his blood in Eastern Balochistan. His sacrifice should serve as an inspiration for us all.
The Balochistan Liberation Front pays tribute to Martyr Sangat Imran Langove alias Meerain Baloch, and pledges to continue the mission of the martyrs until its completion.
