PANJGUR, BALOCHISTAN: FC hands over five unidentified bodies to police in Panjgur

The Frontier Corps (FC) handed over the bodies of five people to police in Panjgur, and they were moved to a hospital for identification.

According to sources, the five bodies have not yet been identified. Hospital sources said the bodies bore bullet wounds.

Further details about the incident have not yet emerged.

It is noteworthy that in the past, Pakistani forces have handed over bodies and claimed that they were Baloch freedom fighters killed in clashes with them. However, many of those bodies were later found to be of people who had previously been disappeared by Pakistani forces from different areas of Balochistan and whose families had protested against their disappearances. Human rights organisations and the families have mostly rejected the Pakistani forces’ claims.
