CHAGAI, BALOCHISTAN: Armed Men Seize Two Cargo Vehicles on Quetta-Taftan Trade Route in Chagai
Armed men seized two cargo vehicles from a convoy on the Quetta-Taftan trade route in the Chehter area, sources said.
The incident reportedly occurred as the convoy was passing through. There has been no official confirmation so far.

Cargo trucks, long vehicles and mineral-transport vehicles in the region have repeatedly come under attack in recent months, reportedly by Baloch armed groups. Baloch separatist groups have declared the route off-limits and announced operations against vehicles using it.
After the continuing attacks, authorities began providing security to the vehicles, which now travel in convoys. However, attacks on both the vehicles and their security escorts have reportedly intensified, and such incidents are continuing.
