QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The protest camp set up in front of the Quetta Press Club by the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) against enforced disappearances in Balochistan continued for its 6,370th consecutive day.
People from various walks of life visited the protest camp and expressed solidarity with the families of missing persons.
VBMP Chairman Nasrullah Baloch said that the case of Ghulam Haider Kurd, son of Juma Khan, who forcibly disappeared from Quetta’s Eastern Bypass on March 12 this year, has been submitted to the head office of the Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances in Islamabad, the Balochistan Home Department and the Deputy Registrar of the Commission’s Balochistan Chapter.
He expressed hope that the relevant authorities would take effective measures for the recovery of Ghulam Haider Kurd and all other forcibly disappeared persons and that justice would be provided to their families.
