
PANJGUR, BALOCHISTAN: Five bodies were brought to Panjgur District Teaching Hospital by Pakistani forces last night, of which two have been identified, while identification of the remaining three is still underway.
According to hospital sources, the five bodies were transferred to the District Teaching Hospital in Panjgur around 11:30 PM on August 19. Hospital administration confirmed receipt of the bodies and initiated legal proceedings.
Hospital sources said the identified victims are Zahir, son of Nasir, resident of Paroom and Hafiz Imran, son of Manzoor Ahmed, resident of Washbod area of Panjgur.
According to the administration, the remaining three individuals have not yet been identified, and the identification process is ongoing. However, according to residents, the unidentified bodies may belong to previously forcibly disappeared persons.
It is worth noting that on August 10, 2026, five bodies were similarly brought to the hospital by Pakistani forces. Of those five, three were reportedly individuals who had earlier been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces: Hafiz Mudasir, son of Noor Ahmed, Shoaib Baloch, son of Muhammad Ayoub and Peer Jan, son of Kachkol, all were disappeared from different locations.
Hospital administration said further information regarding the nature of the incident and additional details would be shared as it becomes available.
