SORAB, BALOCHISTAN: Heavy Clashes in Sorab as Pakistani Forces’ Camp Attacked From Three Sides; Casualties Reported
According to Zrumbesh source, a large number of Baloch fighters attacked a Pakistani forces’ camp from three directions in the Damb area of Sorab, resulting in the sound of intense explosions and gunfire being heard in the area.
There are reports of large-scale losses of personnel and equipment to the Pakistani forces. No group has yet claimed responsibility for this attack.
It is noteworthy that a separate attack in the same district was claimed on 15 August 2026 by the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF). The group’s spokesperson said fighters attacked a convoy of 8 military vehicles in the Padag area of Sorab as it was leaving Sorab en route to Farm Camp, adding that three vehicles in the convoy came under direct fire, killing 6 soldiers riding in them and injuring several others.
