
MASTUNG, BALOCHISTAN: Attack on Convoy of Balochistan’s “Puppet” Home Minister Zia Langove in Khadkoch area of Mastung
Reports have emerged of an attack on the convoy of Balochistan’s Home Minister Zia Langove, a “puppet” minister in the Khadkocha area of Mastung.
According to initial reports, Zia Langove remained unharmed in the attack, while three ATF personnel were injured.
Zia Langove was targeted at Khadkocha on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway while traveling from Quetta to Kalat. The Home Minister remained completely safe from the attack.
Three personnel of the Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF), deployed for the convoy’s security, were seriously injured.
Immediately after the incident, all injured ATF personnel were shifted to the nearest hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area entirely and launched a search operation, while a further official statement from the administration and security officials is awaited.
No confirmed information has yet been received regarding the exact nature of the attack or the resulting casualties or damages.
So far, no armed organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
