QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: United Baloch Army ( UBA) Claims Responsibility for Attacks on Occupying Forces and Gas Pipeline in Bolan
The Spokesperson of UBA Mazzar Baloch siad that, Fighters of the United Baloch Army (UBA) established a checkpoint yesterday evening at 6:00 PM at Aptari on the Quetta-Sibi National Highway (N-65) in Bolan. Snap checking continued for approximately an hour and a half, during which vehicles and individuals passing through were inspected, and close watch was kept on movement in the area. The purpose of this action was to monitor the activities of the occupying army and suspicious individuals and to restrict enemy movement.
During this time, another unit of Baloch fighters destroyed the 18-inch diameter KMP-246 valve assembly on the main gas pipeline at Gokurt using explosive material, causing a complete disruption of gas supply to Quetta, Kolpur, Mach, Mastung, Kalat, Pishin and Ziarat, cutting off gas supply entirely in the affected areas.
In two separate operations at Aptari, a bridge on the N-65 was blown up, causing partial damage to the bridge. During the same operation, fighters also targeted and destroyed surveillance cameras being used by the occupying army.
Following these attacks, a convoy of 20 vehicles advancing toward the fighters from Daraz Bait was targeted with automatic weapons, causing one vehicle to come under fire and overturn off the road. As a result, one soldier was killed and several others were seriously injured.
During the operation, the occupying army launched several failed attacks on the fighters’ positions and quadcopter drones, in response, the fighters returned timely fire on the quadcopter drones, forcing them to retreat.
Attacks of this nature will continue until the achievement of an independent Balochistan.
