QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Baloch Nationalist Leader Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch, Supreme Commander of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), has issued a vehement condemnation of Pakistan, describing it as an “unnatural state” where the legislature, executive, and judiciary are all “hostages” to military dictatorship under the General Headquarters (GHQ).
In his detailed statement, Dr. Nazar criticized the recent sentencing of Baloch political leaders, including the leadership of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Shah Ji Sibghatullah Baloch, and ideological leaders of the Baloch Students Organization (BSO). These leaders were handed imprisonment and life sentences “sham faceless trial,” a process he accuses of flagrantly violating established legal standards and principles. He views the verdicts as an open admission of the Pakistani establishment’s political bankruptcy, fascist nature, and colonial mindset.
Dr. Nazar asserts that all pillars of Pakistan’s state apparatus, the judiciary, legislature, and executive operate under the hidden directives of the military elite’s faceless forces. He condemns those who continue to praise Pakistan’s democracy, judiciary, and constitution, calling such views intellectually bankrupt and politically blind, given the recent oppressive sentences against peaceful public and student leaders.
Highlighting the military’s brutal tactics, Dr. Nazar accuses the Pakistani army of forcibly disappearing Baloch youth, intellectuals, and political activists daily, often leaving behind mutilated bodies. Meanwhile, political and human rights leaders are imprisoned. He condemns the silence and complicity of political agents in parliament, accusing them of being facilitators and partners in the systemic oppression and genocide of the Baloch people.
Despite these challenges, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee has persistently exposed the tyrannical nature of the Pakistani state through peaceful, intellectual, and political struggle. However, the BLF leader warns that even this peaceful resistance has become intolerable to an authoritarian and fascist state.
Dr. Nazar poses a critical question to the Baloch people, asking whether anyone can still believe that Pakistan is anything other than a bloodthirsty state. He condemns the military’s control over political puppets who dance to their commands in exchange for scraps of power.
The statement also criticizes those who endorsed the recent judicial verdicts, including the puppet Chief Minister of Balochistan, whom Dr. Allah Nazar said leading state-backed death squads, and former caretaker politicians who have abandoned their moral duties to please their military masters. These opportunistic pawns, he says, survive politically by serving the occupying army.
Dr. Allah Nazar recalls the Baloch nation’s historical rejection of colonial domination, from British rule to the current military occupation. He emphasizes that state repression through lashes, prisons, faceless trials and gallows will never halt the ideological and political journey of oppressed nations.
He concludes with a firm declaration of the Baloch nation’s determination to secure its rights, land, and existence. Despite decades of sacrifice and resistance, the Baloch struggle remains unwavering. Dr. Nazar states that their destination is not the “rubber-stamp parliament,” the “colonial constitution,” or justice from a “captive judiciary.” Their ultimate goal is a free and sovereign Balochistan, and they are committed to achieving it.
Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch’s statement arrives amid ongoing conflict and political tension in the Balochistan, where demands for autonomy and independence continue to be met with Pakistani Forces crackdowns and accusations of human rights abuses.
