Joblessness Drives Young Man to Fatal Decision in Quetta

QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: A young man ended his life in the Jinnah Town area of Quetta, with sources citing prolonged unemployment as the primary reason behind the tragic incident.

The deceased was identified as Naveed Ahmed, son of Bahadur Khan, belonging to the Marri tribe and a resident of Gulshan Sami, Jinnah Town, Quetta.

According to sources, the young man had been struggling with joblessness for an extended period of time, which reportedly pushed him into a state of severe distress and depression. He was found dead at his residence, and the matter was reported to local authorities.

Police have been informed and further investigation into the incident is currently underway. The body has been handed over to the family for burial.

The tragic incident has shed light on the alarming rise of unemployment among young people in Balochistan. Experts and social workers have repeatedly warned that joblessness, financial hardship, and lack of mental health support are pushing many youth toward hopelessness.
