BRAS claims 8 Pakistani soldiers killed in ambush attacks in Zehri

KHUZDAR, BALOCHISTAN: The Baloch Raji Aajoi Sangar (BRAS) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks on Pakistani security forces in the Bulbul area of Zehri, Khuzdar district, saying eight soldiers were killed and one vehicle was completely destroyed in the first assault, while an armoured vehicle was heavily damaged in a second strike later the same day.

According to BRAS spokesperson Baloch Khan, fighters ambushed a Pakistani military convoy from multiple directions in the Bulbul area at around 7am on Tuesday, June 2, as the Pakistani forces were attempting to advance into the area. Eight soldiers were killed on the spot, one vehicle was completely destroyed and the remaining forces were forced to retreat, the spokesperson said.

Later in the afternoon, Pakistani forces returned to the area in tanks, armoured vehicles, and other military vehicles in a second attempt to advance. BRAS fighters launched another attack, heavily damaging one armoured vehicle and inflicting further casualties on the forces, according to the statement.
