BNM Germany Chapter Holds Sixth Council Session in Hannover, Elects New Cabinet; Secretary General Congratulates New Leadership

HANNOVER, GERMANY: The Baloch National Movement (BNM) Germany Chapter successfully convened its Sixth Chapter Council the Chapter General Body Session, in the German city of Hannover on May 16, 2026, electing a new cabinet for the upcoming term. The session was dedicated to the memory of Shaheed Fida Ahmad Baloch and all martyrs of the Baloch national struggle.

BNM Secretary General Dil Murad Baloch extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected cabinet, describing the successful convening of the session as a reflection of the organisational strength and ideological commitment of the Baloch diaspora in Germany.

Session Opens With Tribute to Martyrs

The session was chaired by outgoing Chapter President Sher Hassan Baloch, while BNM Central Joint Secretary Hassan Dost Baloch attended as the guest of honour. BNM Central Committee member and PAANK Human Rights Department Coordinator Hatim Baloch, along with Central Committee members Haji Naseer Baloch and Hamal Baloch, participated as honorary guests. The session was moderated by Chapter General Secretary Jabbar Baloch.

The proceedings commenced with a one-minute silence in honour of Baloch martyrs, followed by the recitation of tributes. The session then proceeded according to its formal agenda, which included the presentation of the cabinet’s financial report covering the period 2024 to 2026, along with a comprehensive account of organisational activities and performance during the same period.

Review, Planning and Debate

A dedicated session for critical review and future planning saw members, cabinet representatives and central organisational delegates engage in detailed and constructive discussions. Key topics included organisational performance, future strategy and practical measures to further strengthen the movement within the Baloch diaspora community in Germany and across Europe.

Addressing the session, guest speakers emphasised the responsibilities of members, the significance of the Baloch national movement and the urgent need for collective unity and mutual cooperation under the platform of the Baloch National Movement to effectively advance the Baloch national cause at the international level.

Cabinet Dissolved, Elections Held

Upon the completion of the constitutional term, outgoing Chapter President Sher Hassan Baloch formally announced the dissolution of the previous cabinet and called for fresh elections for a new Chapter Cabinet. A three-member Election Committee was subsequently constituted with the approval of candidates and members to oversee and conduct the electoral process in a transparent and orderly manner.

Following the completion of the electoral process, the newly elected cabinet for the upcoming term was announced as follows:

  • President: Asghar Ali
  • Vice President: Sadiq Saeed Baloch
  • General Secretary: Luqman Baloch
  • Joint Secretary: Jalal Dazni
  • Finance Secretary: Abdullah Zahid Baloch

In his closing remarks, newly elected President Asghar Ali expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests, members and participants for their attendance and for placing their confidence and trust in the new cabinet. The session concluded with a renewed collective commitment to organisational unity and the continuation of the struggle for the Baloch national cause.

BNM Secretary General Congratulates New Leadership

In a special congratulatory message issued following the session, BNM Secretary General Dil Murad Baloch extended his heartfelt felicitations to the newly elected cabinet, all workers and participants on the successful convening of the Sixth Chapter Council in Hannover.

“The seriousness, intellectual commitment and consistency with which our colleagues are fulfilling their responsibilities for the national movement, party activism and the Baloch national struggle while living abroad is truly commendable and a shining example of national consciousness,” he said.

Dil Murad Baloch said that dedicating the session to Shaheed Fida Ahmad Baloch and the great martyrs of Balochistan is a clear expression of BNM’s unwavering commitment to advancing the cause of national liberation through the sacrifices of its martyrs and the tireless efforts of its workers.

“The sacrifices of Baloch national martyrs are the chapter of our national history from which we draw courage, resilience and intellectual guidance,” he said.

The Secretary General expressed full confidence in the newly elected leadership under President Asghar Ali, urging them to carry forward the mission of the party with greater wisdom, organisational vision and the spirit of national solidarity.

“The current circumstances demand collective thinking, ideological maturity and mutual trust to further strengthen the national movement so that the Baloch national struggle can be effectively highlighted at the international level,” Dil Murad Baloch said.

He concluded by expressing confidence that the BNM Germany Chapter under its new leadership would not only promote internal party stability but would also continue to play an effective and meaningful role on the diplomatic, political and intellectual fronts of the national movement.
