QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) has strongly condemned the abduction of Gwadar University Vice Chancellor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir, Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Manzoor Baloch, faculty member Dr. Irshad Buledi, and others by unidentified armed men.
VBMP Chairman Nasrullah Baloch, in a statement issued Friday, said the abduction of university officials and educators was not only condemnable but posed a serious threat to the entire educational system in Balochistan.
He demanded the immediate and safe recovery of Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir and all other abducted faculty members, urging that their wellbeing be ensured without delay.
No group has claimed responsibility for the abductions. Authorities have not issued an updated statement on the status of the search operation.
