Two Men Forcibly Disappeared by CTD in Dera Bugti

DERA BUGTI, BALOCHISTAN: Pakistan’s Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has forcibly disappeared two men from the Sui area of Dera Bugti.

According to local source, the disappeared individuals have been identified as Siraj alias Baga, son of Bana Bugti, a former Levies officer recently merged into the regular police force, and Gul Mohammad, son of Zar Khan Hamzani Bugti, an employee of the Education Department working as a watchman.

No official statement has been issued by the CTD or provincial authorities regarding the whereabouts or legal status of either individual.

Local sources report that enforced disappearances in Dera Bugti district have increased significantly in 2026, raising serious concerns among human rights observers and affected families.
