KACHHI, BALOCHISTAN: The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) has claimed responsibility for a heavy weapons attack on a Pakistani forces main camp in the Sanni area of Kachhi, according to a statement issued by BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch.
According to the statement, BRG fighters surrounded the enemy camp from all sides late Saturday night and launched an intense assault using rocket launchers, light machine guns (LMGs), and other heavy weapons. Multiple security personnel were reported killed and wounded in the attack, the group claimed.
The BRG statement further claimed that fighters destroyed an installed surveillance camera during the operation, targeting the forces’ monitoring capabilities in the area.
The group said that Pakistani forces, in response to the attack, fired multiple mortar shells on the surrounding civilian population.
BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch said the organisation claims full responsibility for the attack, adding that such operations would continue until the liberation of Balochistan.
