BLA Claims Responsibility for Attack on Pakistani Naval Patrol Boat off Jiwani Coast

GWADAR: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for an attack on a Pakistani military patrol boat in the coastal waters of Jiwani, near Gwadar.

In a statement issued to the media, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said that the group’s fighters targeted a military patrol vessel in a “significant and strategic advancement” in their operations.

According to the statement, the attack resulted in the deaths of three personnel on board the vessel.

The spokesperson added that the group accepts responsibility for the attack, describing it as the beginning of operations in maritime areas as part of their evolving military strategy. He stated that the aim is to counter the exploitation of Baloch resources through sea routes and to target adversaries on multiple fronts.

He further said that a detailed statement regarding the attack will be released to the media soon.
