
QUETTA: The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) stated that its protest camp against enforced disappearances outside the Quetta Press Club has completed 6,127 days, highlighting what it described as the resilience, patience and continued hope for justice among affected families.
The organization reiterated its demand for an end to enforced disappearances and called on authorities to ensure the recovery of all missing persons.
In a related development, VBMP expressed concern over the reported detention of Muhammad Sadiq, son of Sher Muhammad, who was taken into custody at around midnight from his home in Kili Ismail, Quetta. According to the group, personnel from the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) along with other agencies were involved, and he was subsequently moved to an undisclosed location.
VBMP has demanded his safe recovery, stating that authorities have neither disclosed the reason for his detention nor provided any information regarding his whereabouts or well-being.
