QUETTA: A 30-year-old farmer, Ubaid Ullah Baloch, was killed in the Hajika area of Surab.

According to Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), Ubaid Ullah, son of Aman Ullah, was reportedly returning home when he was shot near Hajika Cross. Officials later described him as a militant, while family members and local residents state that he was a farmer who worked to support his family.

The Committee said that, The incident has raised concerns among residents and human rights observers regarding safety and accountability in Balochistan. BYC called for an impartial investigation to determine the facts surrounding the killing.
