QUETTA: Dr. Shalee Baloch, organizer of the Baloch Women Forum (BWF), has raised concern over the enforced disappearance of a young man in Quetta. She delivered her message through a video shared on the social media platform X, urging everyone to participate in the family-led campaign.
According to Dr. Shalee Baloch, Saifullah Baloch, a 21-year-old mechanic and son of Attaullah, was forcibly disappeared by security forces on March 12, 2026, in Quetta. Since that day, his family has had no information about his whereabouts and continues to endure deep emotional and psychological trauma, living in constant uncertainty.
She described the case as part of a wider and deeply concerning pattern in Balochistan, where enforced disappearances have affected numerous families. Many continue to wait for years without answers, facing ongoing pain and silence.
Dr. Shalee Baloch highlighted that Saifullah’s family has launched a full-day social media campaign to bring attention to his disappearance and seek answers. She urged human rights organizations, civil society and people from all walks of life to participate in the campaign, raise their voices and stand in solidarity with the family.
