PARIS: Dr. Naseem Baloch, Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), has strongly condemned the recent airstrike carried out by Pakistan on a drug rehabilitation hospital in Kabul. He shared his statement on the social media platform X, calling the attack “deeply alarming and completely condemnable.”
Dr. Baloch highlighted that targeting civilian infrastructure particularly facilities meant to aid vulnerable populations violates international law and undermines Afghanistan’s sovereignty. The strike reportedly resulted in hundreds of civilian deaths and injuries to many more, which he described as a crime against humanity.
He stressed that cross-border violence worsens the suffering of the Afghan people, who have already endured decades of conflict. Dr. Baloch urged the international community to speak up, demand accountability and uphold human rights and the sovereignty of nations.
He concluded by warning that remaining silent in the face of such tragedies only encourages further violence and instability in the region.
