Nasirabad: The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) have claimed responsibility for an attack on a Pakistani forces’ checkpost in the Mir Hassan area of Nasirabad.
In a statement issued to the media, BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch said that fighters targeted the checkpost last night using both light and heavy weapons. During the attack, several grenade launcher rounds were fired at the post, which reportedly struck their intended targets.
According to the statement, two security personnel were killed and one was seriously injured in the assault.
The spokesperson added that the Baloch Republican Guards accept responsibility for the attack and stated that such operations will continue until the independence of Balochistan is achieved.
