Nushki: Pakistani security forces have reportedly destroyed the ancestral home of Bashir Zeb, chief of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), along with two other houses in Nushki, Balochistan, using explosives.
According to local sources, the forces entered Nushki several days ago with tanks and armored vehicles and imposed a citywide curfew. The curfew has remained in effect for several days, with security personnel reportedly ordering all shops to close and residents to stay confined to their homes.
Reports indicate that during the operation, two houses in the Qaziabad and Ahmadwal areas of Nushki were destroyed using explosives. The house in Ahmadwal belonged to BLA chief Bashir Zeb. The Qaziabad house had previously belonged to Haji Abdul Samad, who was killed in 2009, and whose family has been living in the Gulf region for several years.
It’s noteworthy that on January 31, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) launched “Operation Heroof,” temporarily taking control of Nushki along with other districts. During the six days of control, the group reportedly targeted multiple Pakistani military camps and the ISI headquarters, with clashes resulting in the deaths of dozens of Pakistani security personnel.
