QUETTA: Baloch pro-independence leader and head of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch, has said that the recent wave of coordinated attacks across Balochistan reflects the “final breaths” of the Pakistani military in Balochistan.
In a statement commenting on the ongoing second phase of the Baloch Liberation Army’s Operation Herof 2 and the resistance-led assaults in multiple cities, Dr. Allah Nazar said that “apologist elements are incapable of distinguishing between a liberation movement and terrorism,” adding that such voices remain ignorant of Baloch history.
Referring to what he called the “last day’s battle” in Quetta (Shal), he said public displays of affection and respect for Baloch freedom fighters were a “wake-up call” for those who, in his words, “continue to bark on behalf of their masters.”
Dr. Allah Nazar appealed to Punjabi intellectuals, vloggers, and mainstream media outlets, stating that even if they choose to label Baloch freedom fighters as “terrorists,” the Baloch people continue to stand firmly with them. He said this public support was evident as civilians openly welcomed fighters from Gwadar to Quetta, even amid ongoing hostilities.
He further said that Pakistani forces of carrying out what he described as grave human rights violations, saying that 13 members of a single family from Khuzdar were killed in Gwadar and that indiscriminate firing targeted civilians in several areas, including Quetta. He also claimed that a passenger van was attacked in Nushki, resulting in the deaths of 10 Baloch civilians, and that drone strikes in civilian areas of Nushki caused dozens of casualties.
“These incidents represent the peak of state brutality and are clear signs of a collapsing military strategy,” Dr. Allah Nazar said. He added that Balochistan was not only advancing militarily in its struggle for independence but had also “won the hearts and minds of the Baloch nation.”
