
QUETTA: The Baloch National Movement (BNM) has paid tribute to its former Central Secretary General, Shaheed Dr. Mannan Baloch and his companions on their martyrdom anniversary.
In a statement issued on the occasion, the Central Spokesperson of BNM said the party honors Dr. Mannan Baloch along with the martyrs of Mastung Babu Nauroz, Ashraf Baloch, Hanif Baloch and Sajid Baloch with deep respect, devotion and a renewed commitment to their mission.
The spokesperson said that the life and martyrdom of Dr. Mannan Baloch represent a significant chapter in the Baloch national struggle, marked by principles of character, sacrifice and integrity. He described Dr. Mannan Baloch as not only a leader but a symbol of political thought, direction and resistance, whose vision continues to guide the Baloch National Movement in both political and resistance arenas.
According to the statement, BNM believes that the sacrifices of martyrs never go in vain, adding that the blood of Dr. Mannan Baloch and his companions serves as a guiding light in the history of the Baloch struggle against oppression.
The spokesperson reiterated the party’s resolve that the sacrifices of the martyrs would ultimately lead to freedom, stating that the movement’s struggle is long-term, ideological and rooted in the dreams and sacrifices of its martyrs as well as the collective aspirations of the Baloch nation.
On the occasion, BNM called upon all its zones and chapters to organize commemorative programs in memory of Shaheed Dr. Mannan Baloch and his fellow martyrs. The statement said these programs should focus on the political and intellectual contributions of the martyrs, the objectives of their struggle, and the responsibilities of BNM in advancing the cause.
The spokesperson concluded by urging party members and the Baloch nation to consider the mission of Shaheed Dr. Mannan Baloch and his companions a shared national responsibility, emphasizing that strengthening the party’s ideology, organization, and struggle is the most meaningful way to honor the martyrs.
