
Panjgur: Reports have emerged of intense clashes lasting approximately seven hours between Pakistani forces and armed men yesterday in the Surap area of Panjgur, Balochistan.
According to local sources, Pakistani forces suffered casualties during the clashes. Reports indicate that Subedar Yousaf was killed, while several other personnel were injured. Sources further claimed that commandos also sustained heavy losses; however, the exact number of killed and injured could not be independently confirmed.
Sources said that during the large-scale operation underway in the area, members of a local “death squad” were also participating alongside the military.
So far, no official statement has been issued by either government authorities or any Baloch armed group regarding the incident, leaving further details unclear.
It is worth noting that clashes and military operations between Pakistani forces and armed groups continue to be reported across various parts of Balochistan, keeping the overall security situation in the region tense.
