Quetta: The families of Abdul Qahar Qambarani and Musawir Qambarani have contacted Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), stating that security forces detained the two men during raids conducted at around 12 midnight on January 16 in the Killi Qambarani area of Quetta and transferred them to an unknown location.

According to the families, Abdul Qahar, son of Abdul Jabbar Qambarani, and Musawir Qambarani, son of Afzal Qambarani, were taken into custody during the operation. They said they have repeatedly approached the administration, but neither the reason for the arrest nor any information regarding the safety and whereabouts of Abdul Qahar and Musawir has been provided. As a result, the families remain under severe mental pressure and distress.

VBMP Chairman Nasrullah Baloch said that the enforced disappearance of Abdul Qahar and Masoor and the failure to provide information to their families constitute a serious violation of citizens’ fundamental rights, which VBMP strongly condemns.

He demanded that the government ensure the immediate recovery of both youths, adding that if there are any allegations against them, they should be presented before a court of law.
