Kech: Two Youth Released After Being Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces

KECH: Two young men who were forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces on January 7 in Hotabad, Tump Kech, have been safely released and returned home, according to local sources.

The sources said that on January 7, Pakistani forces conducted large-scale raids in Hotabad, detaining multiple individuals and transferring them to unknown locations.

Among those forcibly disappeared were identified as Hasrat Hasil, Kashif Yaqub, Riaz Yaqub, Dad Karim, Khuda Bakhsh, Jalil Khuda Bakhsh, Saleem, Ali Bakhsh, Sajid, Shah Jahan, Wali, Riaz Hasan, Fazal Rafiq, and Siraj Barkat.

Authorities reported that two of these individuals, Riaz Hasan and Siraj Barkat, have now been safely released and returned to their families.

The fate of the remaining missing individuals remains unknown, and local residents continue to demand accountability for enforced disappearances in the region.
