Quetta: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks targeting security installations in Bolan and Chagai districts of Balochistan.
According to a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the group’s fighters launched an assault on a Frontier Corps (FC) camp in the Bibi Nani area of Bolan on the night of December 10. The attack reportedly began at around 8:30 PM, during which BLF fighters targeted the camp from two directions using modern and heavy weapons.
The spokesperson stated that several RPG rounds struck inside the camp, causing a fire and resulting in unspecified casualties and material losses to the Pakistani forces.
In another incident, BLF claimed that its fighters attacked a police checkpoint in Chagai Bazaar on the night of December 7. The hand grenade reportedly landed inside the checkpoint premises, causing damage to police vehicles and the structure.
While claiming responsibility for both attacks, the BLF reiterated that its operations would continue until, according to the group, “the complete withdrawal of Pakistani forces from Balochistan.”
