Dera Bugti: Two separate bomb explosions in the Sughari area of Sui tehsil, Dera Bugti district, Balochistan, have left three people dead, including a woman and a child, six others injured.
According to initial reports, the first blast was caused by a landmine, killing Uthman Bugti’s wife and child on the spot. Almost simultaneously, another explosion in the area claimed the life of a local farmer, Ali.
Local sources claim that over the past month, landmines have allegedly been planted in the Lanjou and Sughari areas by what is said to be a death squad linked to provincial minister Sarfraz Bugti, targeting farmers’ lands. These blasts have not only caused human casualties but have also killed several livestock.
Residents further report frequent firing incidents on homes in the area, leaving the local population in a state of fear and panic.
Sources allege that Sarfraz Bugti and the FC supplied the death squad with weapons and provisions for their camps yesterday, which may have contributed to the escalation of today’s bombings
