Turbat: Three Youths Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces from Absar

Kech; Pakistani security forces allegedly detained three young men from the Absar area of Turbat and transferred them to an undisclosed location.

According to source, the disappeared individuals have been identified as Sadiq, son of Noorullah, Kaleem Jan, son of Noorullah and Muslim, son of Malang. They were reportedly taken into custody around 1 a.m. last night during a raid on their residence in Absar Kech, after which their whereabouts remain unknown.

Enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings of Baloch youth at the hands of Pakistani security forces and allied militias, often referred to as “death squads,” have been on the rise in Balochistan. Human rights organizations have repeatedly voiced concern over the ongoing situation.
