The protest camp outside Karachi Press Club for the recovery of forcibly disappeared youths, Zahid Ali Baloch and Sarfaraz Baloch, continued for the 21st consecutive day. Demonstrators demanded the immediate recovery of their loved ones and their production before a court of law.
Bibi Gulshan Baloch, mother of missing Sarfaraz Baloch, stated that her son was abducted on 26 February 2025 by plain-clothed personnel outside Burhani Hospital. Sarfaraz had gone to the hospital to attend to his ailing uncle and was abducted while stepping out to get food. According to the family, several months have passed, yet there has been no trace of Sarfaraz, nor has he been presented in any court.
Hameed Baloch, father of Zahid Ali Baloch, said that his son was forcibly taken by security personnel on 17 July 2025 from Karachi’s Golimar area.
The protesters declared that their sit-in would continue until Zahid Ali Baloch and Sarfaraz Baloch are recovered.
It may be noted that Zahid Baloch belongs to Kalri Lyari, while Sarfaraz Baloch is a resident of Maripur Singhore Para.
