Five People Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces from Basima and Quetta

Besima and Quetta; five people were taken into custody by Pakistani forces and subsequently subjected to enforced disappearance.

According to sources, Pakistani security forces carried out an operation in Basima, district Washuk and detained four individuals. They were identified as Sadiq, Fareed and Amir, while the identity of the fourth person remains unknown. It was reported that in recent days, a heavy deployment of Pakistani troops was made in Basima, with strict checking points established. Locals were confined to their homes and shops were forcibly closed.

Meanwhile, on August 17 in Quetta, Pakistani forces detained a young man named Salman Baloch, son of Dr. Essa and subjected him to enforced disappearance. Salman is said to be a resident of Panjgoor.
