Awaran: Body of Enforcedly Disappeared Youth Found After Custody by Pakistani Forces

In Awaran, Balochistan, the body of a young man, previously subjected to enforced disappearance by Pakistani forces, has been recovered from the Rekan area after being killed.

According to local sources, Nawaz Baloch, a resident of Buzdar, Awaran, was summoned to a Pakistani army camp two days ago and taken into custody, after which he went missing. Locals reported that his bullet-riddled body was later dumped in the Rekan area of Awaran.

Such incidents are reportedly on the rise in Balochistan, with bodies of enforcedly disappeared individuals frequently being discovered. Human rights activists have condemned these killings as extrajudicial executions and expressed deep concern over the growing trend.
