Balochistan: Multiple people, including women and children, were injured in separate incidents of shelling and firing by Pakistani security forces in various parts of Balochistan.
According to sources, in Gomazi, mortar shelling by Pakistani forces on a house killed a 10-year-old boy and injured three other children.
In Turbat’s Absar area, unidentified individuals carried out a hand grenade attack on the house of Khudadad in the Balochi Bazaar neighborhood, injuring two women. The wounded were identified as Sahiba and Shahida, both residents of Balochi Bazaar, Absar. They were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in Turbat for medical treatment.
In a separate incident last night, Frontier Corps (FC) personnel opened fire on a house in the Kalaho area of Tump, leaving a man named Essa and his wife, Zuleikha, seriously injured. The victims were taken to hospital, while the affected family staged a protest in front of a military camp in response to the attack.
Sources allege that when Baloch pro-independence fighters carry out attacks, Pakistani forces often respond with indiscriminate shelling or heavy firing on civilian areas, putting women and children at particular risk.
