The Baloch National Movement (BNM) held a central cabinet meeting chaired by Party Chairman Dr. Naseem Baloch. The session was attended by senior leadership including Senior Vice Chairman Dr. Jalal Baloch, Junior Vice Chairman Babul Latif Baloch, Secretary General Dil Murad Baloch, Deputy Secretary Kamal Baloch, Joint Secretary Hassan Dost, Information Secretary Qazi Dad Muhammad Rehan, Foreign Secretary Faheem Baloch, Human Rights Secretary Dr. Nazir Noor, and Welfare Secretary Iqbal Baloch.
The meeting reviewed key organizational matters, political developments and progress on party programs both within Balochistan and at the international level. Departmental secretaries presented detailed reports, followed by comprehensive discussions aimed at shaping the party’s future strategic direction.
In his remarks, Dr. Naseem Baloch expressed confidence in the cohesion and discipline of the BNM leadership, highlighting that collective organization and unity of purpose are essential to the advancement of national movements.
“Movements are not built solely on passion, they require structured teamwork, intellectual clarity and a shared sense of responsibility,” he said. “True political movements guide nations through thoughtful action, not just slogans.”
He reiterated that the current conditions in Balochistan remain unstable, stating that any assumption of normalcy is misleading until the underlying political grievances are addressed. According to Dr. Baloch, continued repression in the region aims to suppress critical thinking and demoralize the population.
“The path forward lies in organized resistance, strategic planning and political engagement. Success comes through consistent training and informed decisions,” he noted.
On international advocacy, Dr. Naseem Baloch pointed to growing progress on the diplomatic front, particularly among the diaspora. He emphasized the importance of building relationships with global institutions and media outlets to challenge narratives that misrepresent the Baloch struggle.
“While Pakistan promotes a narrative that frames our movement as violent or extremist, we counter it through political activism, transparency and engagement with international legal norms. Modern media tools and diplomatic avenues are crucial in sharing our perspective with the world,” he added.
Dr. Baloch also emphasized that genuine progress demands both sacrifice and strategy.
“Without a clear direction and organized political planning, efforts risk becoming unsustainable. The sacrifices made by our people require that we approach every decision with careful thought and inclusivity. We can no longer afford missteps born of short-sightedness.”
He urged party members to maintain self-awareness and accountability.
“Every activist must understand the purpose of this movement and where it aims to go. That understanding strengthens the very foundation of our national cause.”
In closing, Dr. Naseem Baloch reiterated BNM’s inclusive identity. “This party belongs to the people it is rooted in shared national concerns, not privilege or exclusivity. We welcome the youth with open arms, provided they come with commitment and responsibility.”
He concluded: “Whether it’s international recognition or internal organizational discipline, every success we see is the result of our activists’ dedication. Our path is long, but every step forward contributes to a larger goal of national dignity and justice.”
