BNM Protest in Berlin, Germany Marks 16 Years of Dr. Deen Mohammad Baloch’s Enforced Disappearance

On the 16th anniversary of the enforced disappearance of Dr. Deen Mohammad Baloch, the Baloch National Movement (BNM) held a protest on Saturday at Berlin Gate, one of the busiest locations in the German capital.

BNM activists, including women and children, participated in the demonstration, holding photographs of forcibly disappeared individuals and demanding justice for all victims. Pamphlets in German and English were distributed, highlighting the case of Dr. Deen Mohammad and the broader issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.

Protesters condemned enforced disappearances as an attack on humanity and a tool aimed at erasing entire nations. They asserted that individuals like Dr. Deen Mohammad Baloch remain alive in every protest, every voice raised and every act of resistance against oppression.

They demanded truth and accountability in Dr. Deen Mohammad’s case, an end to enforced disappearances in Balochistan, international attention and pressure on Pakistan, and justice for all victims and their families.

Protesters also expressed grave concern over the ongoing human rights violations in Balochistan, warning that international silence is enabling further repression. They emphasized that thousands of families of the disappeared are enduring unbearable pain, and that the extrajudicial killings of detainees in fake encounters are only deepening their suffering.
