Kharan, Balochistan; Pakistani security forces have reportedly forcibly disappeared two young men in Kharan, Balochistan.
According to local sources, the individuals have been identified as Asim Baloch, son of Musa Khan Yalanzi, and Israr Baloch, son of Faqir Muhammad Yalanzi. Both were detained near Wadh Checkpost last night while returning home from the local market.
Witnesses state that the youths were taken into custody by security personnel and moved to an undisclosed location. Since their detention, there has been no information regarding their whereabouts or condition.
The incident has raised fresh concerns among human rights advocates and local communities over the continued practice of enforced disappearances in the region by Pakistani Foreces.
