Turbat: Youth Forcibly Disappeared Again by Pakistani Forces

A young man has once again been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Kech district of Balochistan after being taken into custody.

According to sources, the disappeared individual has been identified as Sagheer Ahmed, son of Ghulam Qadir, a resident of Kolwah in Awaran district. He was detained by Pakistani forces last night while traveling from Turbat to Karachi and taken to an unknown location.

It is worth noting that Sagheer Baloch was previously subjected to enforced disappearance on November 20, 2017, by Pakistani forces. At that time, he was released after reportedly being subjected to severe torture. Now, he has once again become a victim of enforced disappearance.

The pattern of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings by Pakistani forces continues across Balochistan, where people are being abducted on a daily basis, and many are later killed in staged encounters.
