Awaran: Young Man Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces, Body Later Dumped

In yet another disturbing incident from Balochistan, Pakistani security forces allegedly summoned a young man from Awaran’s Kolwah region to their camp — and later his dead body was found dumped.

According to local sources, Ghous Bakhsh, son of Master Elahi Bakhsh and a resident of Malaar Machi, Kolwah, was called to a military camp on Monday. After being taken into custody, he was forcibly disappeared. On Tuesday, his body was found dumped in the same region.

This incident follows a similar case just five days ago, when Sajid, son of Mistri Nasir, was also forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces. His body was later discovered in the Malaar Chel area.

Eight days earlier, another young man, Younis, son of Rasool Bakhsh — who served in the Levies force was forcibly disappeared from his home by Pakistani army personnel. His body was later discovered. After his death, Pakistani forces claimed that Younis was affiliated with the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF). However, the BLF denied this claim, stating that Younis had no association with their organization.

In the span of just ten days, at least three young men from Kolwah have been forcibly disappeared and later found dead — a pattern that highlights the increasing concerns about extrajudicial killings and human rights violations in Balochistan.
