
Quetta – Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), Dr. Naseem Baloch, paid tribute to Mama Qadeer Baloch, hailing him as a living legend and symbol of unwavering resistance in a recent statement on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Dr. Naseem Baloch wrote, “Mama Qadeer Baloch is a legend. A symbol of unmatched courage and tireless resistance, he is leading the world’s longest hunger strike, carrying the weight of thousands of Baloch missing persons on his shoulders.”
He emphasized that through years of pain, silence, and struggle, Mama Qadeer has emerged as “the voice of the voiceless and a beacon of humanity against cruelty.” He stated that Mama Qadeer’s struggle transcends Balochistan, symbolizing the broader fight for justice and human dignity across the globe.
The BNM chairman also expressed concern over Mama Qadeer’s deteriorating health, confirming that he has been hospitalized. “Our thoughts and prayers are with him. May he recover soon and return to home and his mission,” Dr. Naseem added.
He concluded with a powerful remark: “Mama Qadeer is more than one man, he is a movement.”
Mama Qadeer Baloch is widely known for his peaceful resistance and relentless advocacy for the recovery of Baloch missing persons, having led numerous hunger strikes, protest marches, and human rights campaigns over the years.
