Mashkay: Young Man Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces

A young man has been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Mashkay, a subdivision of Awaran district in Balochistan.

According to local sources, the disappeared youth has been identified as Shahnawaz, son of Barfi, a resident of the Laki area of Mashkay. Reports indicate that on the morning of May 16, Shahnawaz was summoned to the Nali military camp along with his father and several other individuals.

While his father and the others were later released, Shahnawaz was taken into custody and shifted to an undisclosed location. His current whereabouts remain unknown, and no information has been provided to the family regarding his condition or location.

This incident adds to the growing number of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, a practice widely condemned by human rights organizations and civil society.
