Attacks on Pakistani Forces in Kolwah and Kalat

Balochistan – Pakistani forces came under attack in separate incidents in the districts of Balochistan Awaran and Kalat on Monday, as unidentified armed men targeted military personnel and installations.

According to local sources, a military checkpoint in Shah Botol, Kolwah (Awaran district), was attacked today. Residents reported hearing heavy gunfire and explosions during the assault.

In a separate incident in the Grap area of Kalat, unidentified assailants targeted personnel of a bomb disposal squad who were on foot, clearing a route when they were hit by an explosion.

Initial reports suggest casualties and material losses among the forces, although the exact figures remain unconfirmed. No group has yet claimed responsibility for either attack.

Additionally, clashes were reported earlier today in Kolwah between armed men and a local death squad. Several individuals were reportedly killed in the confrontation. Following the clash, military forces were seen arriving at the scene and later transporting the bodies and injured members of the death squad toward Gishkore.
